My best friend in the whole world is a vintage clothing dealer and vintage jewelry designer.  It is so nice that I get to dig through all her great finds for inspiration.  This dress is very close to a 50’s prom dress she has that was way too small for either of us; which ended up being a good thing so we didn’t fight to the death over it!!  Hee, hee, hee!!  I thought it was only fitting to name it after her.I made the sample for myself, so it’s not white, but how darling would this be in all white, or a combo of white & ivory or white & pale pink??!!  TO DIE FOR!!!  Man, I love this job!!!

The blue fabric the Betty is in on my website is a hand painted, shredded silk, so it is too difficult to work with.  I have since remade it in a cotton lace and it gets a whole new look!!  Now it is loved by all!!  Looks great long too!!

I have a black stretch satin version of the Stella dress for myself that I made for the Debbi Awards last year, and brides have been loving it in ivory!!  I found a stretch satin that is part silk, so it looks and feels amazing!!  And talk about comfey!!  It has a small train that goes up in a French bustle.    

The fabric on my website used on Biance was discontinued, so I am doing it in this new, lace with pale pink cording. Otherwise, it’s the same.

The first photo I put up of this dress had a vintage brooch that I can’t get again, and it was so smal it was hard to see the details. It is made of silk brocade and has a pearl and rhinestone brooch.

This has been popular so far, even though it’s only been seen by a few real brides. It is all silk taffeta with small pleats around the top and the hem. It’s simple, but still a stunner!!

I finally named a dress after mt friend and jewelry designer, Meg Lammers of MEG Jewelry!! It is sparkly, like all her jewels she makes!!It is a silk chiffon covered in tiny silver sequins. Talk about GLAM!!!

This dress could be done in a whiter fabric too. This one is a pale blue crepe with silver woven throughout. I LOVE this dress!! It has a slight, angled train starting from a cool detail at the low cut back. The slim sash at the waist can be tied at the center front or a bit to the side.

This is a real glamour gown!! Straight out of a 1930’s movie!! It is made of silk satin backed crepe. It has rhinestone details at the shoulders and some bling at the front. Across the front is a chiffon scarf that goes through the shoulder detals and hangs freely down the back of both straps. It has a medium train and can be French bustled. FAB!!!

This dress is the one in Modern Bride right now. It os a silk taffeta stripe with gold embroidered detail. I have also made it for a bride in the same ivory brocade on the Olivia dress with a rhinestone halter strap that went under the bust and behind the neck…I’m just waiting for pictures rom her!! Hint, hint, Audra!!
