Crys Stewart of Lifetime’s “Get Married” stopped by our booth with her camera man and interviewed me about the latest bridal trends. Michelle made a beautiful model in a few of my gowns!! Keep an eye out for us on the show!!

Last night, 3 of my dresses were featured in the Chicago Bridal Market’ s fashion show!! The dresses were the ONLY short dresses and were well received (they happened to be MY favorite part of the whole show!!)

My friends from Garnett Avenue had 12 dresses in the show!! They were the grand finale!! They were the most amazing!!

Here we are with one of the Garnett Avenue designers, Alberto!! He is such fun!! And also Meg Lammers, from MEG Jewelry!! Don’t you just love her feather hair thing!?

We worked really hard setting up the booth!!  Michelle almost got eaten by the Marilyn dress!!

But we got the booth together with time to spare and went to the spa!!

We saw one of my dresses in the main lobby!!

We met a new friend!!  Matthew Christopher!!  www.matthewchristopher.com He’s an amazing designer!  His booth is facing ours, so it’s a wild party at our corner of the trade show!!

I got an email from one of my most excited brides ever!! She was jumping up and down in my store the first time she tried on her dress, Hillary! It was so cute!! She knew right away that it was the dress for her. We added the yellow petticoat and feathers to go with her wedding colors. I made her the perfect hat too!! I will never forget how moved she was when she picked up her dress when it was done…she actually cried!!…And so did I!!

Lisa wanted a dress that was not traditional. She went with the Hillary dress in a pale gray, with a rose at the hip and black & white polka dot feather accents. She also had a green petticoat to go with her gray & green colored wedding. She loved it!!
